One Bank Holiday you may want to trade

Bank holidays can be a bit of mare. Four billion horses, racing over a thousand meetings. OK, A slight exaggeration there, but you get the picture. Too much racing, too many courses, not enough quality and everything falling over itself.

But today that actually isn’t the case and generally isn’t on this holiday. We have a lot of runners and they are spread many races, but the card is lined up well. That means, even allowing for later starts, it’s unlikely that any races will clash with each other. This could make for decent trading conditions.

Racing starts at 12:30, Cartmell will probably clash with Huntingdon, but that’s not a major loss and as Windsor joins card the card it will knock out Cartmel anyhow probably. I’ve never got on with Cartmel as a trading course.

The French Open Tennis is rain delayed, so that’s off the cards for a fair period today. I guess they may eventually put a roof in by the next century.

All said, you may be having a well-deserved rest. But for me, that can wait till tomorrow!

I left a good job in the consumer technology industry to go a trade on Betfair for a living way back in June 2000. I've been here ever since pushing very boundaries of what's possible on betting exchanges and loved every minute of it.
