Using Bet Angel to autotrade score-lines in football
Last season I knocked up a spreadsheet that did something interesting.
I didn’t realise at the time, but it turned out to be one of my more popular posts and videos. Basically it used Guardian and our spreadsheet integration to create an imaginative overview on an underlying football match.
I do this sort of stuff all the time to examine all manner of markets. Stepping back from the just the numbers and looking at another representation of the market can often throw off surprising information and ideas. It’s highly recommended.
I eventually put the spreadsheet up on the forum but modified the original to automatically update the scores as the match is played. Using this spreadsheet means that you can therefore trade to specific score lines on a football match if you want.
I’d encourage you to watch the video, download the spreadsheet and have a play. I’m sure it will give you some ideas or some new strategies to play around with.
