Just another tepid Tuesday
After the fun and games over the weekend we now step back into the ordinary racing card again.
At this time of year we revert to two cards in the afternoon. I don’t really enjoy these very much and last year I swore blind I wouldn’t do them next year. So this year and I going to do a lot less on these afternoons.
Well I say a lot less, just something different. I recently bought a new gadget that measures how active I am etc. and I was shocked at how little physical activity I do when I’m sat in the office. I so I’ve promised to work hard at a couple of sports this year. But I also want to take time out of the day to day routine of sports exchanges.
I’m always keen to keep moving forward and creating some space will allow me to spend more time on new things. I tend to work late at night on my investments in financial markets but, as my wife reminds me far too often, I’m not spending enough quality time on myself. So shifting that into a Monday or Tuesday will free up some additional time.
Throughout my life I’ve always been keen to have half an eye out for new ideas; whether it’s a new strategy, a new direction, or something completely different and it has always paid off long term. So taking time out on the quiet days will give me the opportunity to challenge myself on that front as well.
