Swiss squeeze busts West Ham sponsor

Swiss squeeze busts West Ham sponsor

As I speculated yesterday, there was bound to be some companies that couldn’t absorb the losses from the decision by Swiss to suddenly free float their currency.

The first victim to come to the fore is Alpari, they posted a rather sombre statement on their web site: –

https://www.alpari.com/company-news/posts/2015/january/important-announcement/

The key part reads: –

The recent move on the Swiss franc caused by the Swiss National Bank’s unexpected policy reversal of capping the Swiss franc against the euro has resulted …

Trading team news on football matches

Trading team news on football matches

I’m looking at the Man City and West Ham match this evening. I see City are 1/5 on for the win! The big question I am asking myself at this moment in time is, what teams will walk onto the pitch this evening?

I trade a lot of football before the match starts. Why? Well if I do anything in-play then trading before the off gives me some leeway to what I want to do with a strategy in-play.

Is the Queen a West Brom supporter?

Is the Queen a West Brom supporter?

While watching MOTD 2 the other day, I noticed that the Queen has been pretty busy.

Not only did she manage to visit the prime ministers cabinet meeting this week, but at the weekend I seem to have caught her watching West Brom vs West Ham. See picture: –

0-0 Continued…

0-0 Continued…

In yesterdays match Joey O’Brian was …

Arsenal vs West Ham

Arsenal vs West Ham

Compiled some premier league ratings today but didn’t get time to put them up this morning.

Anyhow, top of expected list of goals was Arsenal vs West Ham at nearly 3.5 goals. Given that this match is now at 0-0 at half time, but there has been plenty of goal mouth action. I think there is a lot of value here in terms of backing an Arsenal win or laying a low goal tally. Counter arguments are that is …

Swine flu hits Blackburn team

Swine flu hits Blackburn team

The impact on the market has been immediate, with the price on Blackburn drifting throughout the day. I guess this will continue unless the match is called off. I’m not particularly keen on making money on somebodies misfortune so I will duck out on this one.

While most Football markets are pretty stable things like, injuries, weather and illness can have a profound affect on the pre-match market. I’ve seen lots of similar things …
