Betfair add Sportsbook cash out facility
Nipped onto the Betfair site this afternoon to sort out some things on my account only to be re-directed to the sportsbook again, sigh.
I was greeted by a re-designed sportsbook page with the words ‘Cash out – BETA’ appearing right in front of me. It appears this is a new function and replaces the link to the exchange saying ‘cash out – you need to use the exchange’. Anybody visiting the home page would be hard pressed now to realise that Befair is actually a betting exchange, or was, it seems.
No idea, as yet, if the lay bet to cash out will arrive on the exchange, or whether Betfair will now control the cash out element of the Sportsbook. If anybody from Betfair would like to comment I’m sure all exchanges users, which are still the vast majority of your business, would appreciate that.
