How to post comments on our blog
I have to admit most of the chatter on Bet Angel takes place on our forum rather than the blog. Some of the benefits of this are that comments are threaded, categorised and have many contributors.
I’ve replied to the odd comment that comes through on the blog so I know people can reply, but it seems some people are confused as to how to post comments. So here is a guide to that that very topic: –
(1) To reply to a post, click on the highlighted reply text. If you have not registered or are not logged in then at the bottom of the post it will tell you that and ask you to be log in.
(2) When you click on the ‘logged in’ hyperlink you will go to a landing page. We recently replaced the logo landing page when you reply to make it clear this is a Bet Angel blog and not a wordpress blog. If you are still seeing the WordPress logo hit CTRL&F5 on your keyboard to pull it into your cache.
(3) As is very common elsewhere, to stop spam and abuse you will need to register; to do this click on the ‘register’ hyperlink. We did have open comments for a fair while on the blog, but the amount of spam to real posts was vast, so enforcing registration was the only way to keep it under control. Once you registered you can post a reply. You should get an email almost instantly. If you don’t just drop a note to support and we will manually approve your registration.
