Bizarre end to Queens Club Tennis final
In the last twelve years I’ve seen a lot of weird things in sport. Unexpected endings or remarkable twists and turns. Today I learnt something new about Tennis, Injuring an official will cost you the match, no matter how important the match.
David Nalbandian has done well at Queens this week and was doing well in the final. He vented his frustration on an advertising hoarding after losing a game and injured a line judge. The result was disqualification. Never seen that before! Another one for the notebook.
