Hindsight is a wonderful thing isn’t in. But Liverpool are now into 1.19 for the title, but a controversial title awaits perhaps?<\/p>\n

After their 0-0 draw with Athletico this week in the champions league, Chelsea are preparing for the real prospect of another champions league final. But this it seemingly going to have an effect on the title race also.<\/p>\n

Mourinho has threatened to field a much weakened team against Liverpool, effectively handing them the title. Liverpool’s price has shortened a little as a result.<\/p>\n

“The fact that the match is on Sunday, I think that puts the problem not in my hands but in the hands of those who decide the game should be Sunday, not Saturday or Friday. We represent English football and are the only [English] team in European competition.”<\/p>\n

Liverpool’s price for the match has been shortening up quite a bit with Chelsea’s progress in the champions league. Obviously Chelsea’s price has been drifting as well. This is compounded by injuries and other factors. So, in hindsight, Liverpool at 2’s was a fantastic price.<\/p>\n
