Quite a lot I would reckon. So the inevitable summer debate will be will who will Spurs sell him to?<\/p>\n

Never quite seems to work out though does it? I don’t know how many star players I have seen sold, only to see them not fit into their new set up. But there is one thing that is in no doubt, just how much Gareth Bale is worth for Spurs not just in monetary terms, but on the pitch.<\/p>\n

If you look at the markets reaction to Bale’s injury on Thursday it was dramatic. Spurs were trading at around 1.94 to win against Everton today but when Bale tumbled on his ankle their price shot out to 2.44. So on that basis his absense reduced the chance of Spurs winning by 10.5%. The price has now settled at 2.24 so that shift is slightly less at 7%, but that’s still one influential\u00a0player.<\/p>\n
