So it’s finally here, Royal Ascot starts today and I can’t wait!<\/p>\n

I’m going to have an easy morning each day this week so I can prepare and feel relaxed for the on-coming challenge of the busy Ascot markets. Yesterday I did a dry run of all my set-ups, back up positions, automation, settings etc. and then went out for a bike ride with my youngest daughter. So I’m relaxed and about as ready as I can be.<\/p>\n

The only dodgy element is that I have an eye infection, which isn’t great when you are going to be staring at the computer intensly for hours; but that seems to be abating a bit.<\/p>\n

Day one sees a very uncompetitive market followed by a lot of very competitive markets. So it should be a good test today. I’ll be using today to make sure everything, including my trading brain, is in the best of order and I will step up a gear each day.<\/p>\n

On day one we start with Frankel and it looks like the bookies may just as well hand over the cash at 1.14! Later in the week we have the other equine superstar ‘Black Caviar’. It’s going to be a really great week of racing.<\/p>\n
