Interested in seeing what Betfair looked like in 2004?<\/p>\n

While busy preparing for this year’s Grand National I went back through the archives. In it I found a few screenshots that I had taken from way back in 2004, I thought I would share them with you. It was around 2004 that I started doing detailed archives of my work.<\/p>\n

It’s interesting to see how some things have changed but some haven’t. I haven’t made a note of when these screenshots were grabbed, but it looks like it was some time before the start. The turnover isn’t’ that bad for back in 2004. You can see that getting matched was a similar story back then, it’s taken several bets to get a relatively small amount matched.<\/p>\n

One thing that has changed is my expectation and activity on the exchanges. Back then I wouldn’t have figured just what I would be doing eight years later. In fact I would have thought you were mad if you would have told me what I would be up to back then, it would have seemed just incredible. It just goes to show you never to think anything is impossible. Back then I had only just started work on Bet Angel. It’s amazing to see\u00a0how that has transformed over time as well. Anyhow, thought you would enjoy seeing this blast from the past!<\/p>\n

Back to this year and yesterday went well again. So I am in good spirits for whatever today chucks at me.<\/p>\n
