February is the quietest month of the year for me. I do around 1\/3rd of what I can during the busiest time of the year. So I tend to take some time off during February. A few years ago I was forced to take time off because of a death in the family and I’ve pretty much stuck to that since. The time off that is!<\/p>\n

For me this period is about getting some relaxtion in and planning for the busy months ahead, but also I don’t draw on my account for a while as I am keen to build up my betting bank for use at Cheltenham. Hopefully I will be able to put through some big numbers at the festival, so I need to ensure I have a decent sum to hand. A few years ago I switched accounts, a security measure, and forgot to reset the exposure limits. It left me in a right mess on the first feature race on the Tuesday. I’m not doing that again!<\/p>\n

Anyhow, we are now past the ‘official’ quiet time and things start to pick up again very shortly. It will soon be all hands to the pumps on what promises to be a massive sporting year.<\/p>\n
