Popped into the Greyhound markets last night. My interest was that Betfair were sponsoring it last night and I thought that may add some liquidity and make it worthwhile. Trading the dogs isn’t like the horses, it’s much more volatile but it generally works in a similar way and similar styles can apply.<\/p>\n

I never get a massive amount out of the dogs but it can add a bit to the day. The funny thing about last night was the couple of big races. The TV camera swung to a Betfair screen and Gary Wiltshire described the money and odds available. It was just at the same time I dropped \u00a32k into the market. There was only \u00a32.1k or so to back the favourite so I was pretty much all of that, quite funny.<\/p>\n

I pushed the boat out for the big race and ended up being around 15% of the total market! Sorry if I trod on anybodies toes but I’m always trying to look for new things to do where possible. I didn’t actually earn a great deal from the race but it was worth experimenting.<\/p>\n
