OK, we are in the thick of some major sporting action at the moment. I’m soooo busy it’s difficult to know which way to look at times, but it’s great fun. I apologise if I’ve been a bit quieter recently, but I simply haven’t had the time to devote to updating the blog etc. I’ll be back soon, most likely after Wimbledon has completed.<\/p>\n
But it’s important to reflect that it’s not all about the big stuff. Ascot is gone and you may think so has the opportunity. But despite having a really good Ascot, I managed to put in another decent week last week on the Racing.<\/p>\n
At the end of the day, all the stuff around the major meetings will be your bread and butter so it’s worth learning to cope with the vagaries that surround it. Typically it make be a little less predictable that the major meetings but the nature of it does present some good opportunities, you just have to be very patient and sometimes very alert.<\/p>\n
Last week threw\u00a0up some \u00a0decent opportunities and that helped boost what would have been a quieter week. So I think last week flattered what was available, but without practising and looking hard for these opportunities you will never find them.<\/p>\n
So a really good June, as forecast. I’ll start turning my attention to July proper once I get this week out of the way.<\/p>\n
